抽象的な観点と比喩的な観点で色を探求した一連の写真。時にそれはラスベガスのベラージオ・ホテルの色鮮やかな天井やプールの水が反射した色だったり、若者のワクワクするようなカラフル夜が感じ取れるクロアチア、ザダルの十代の子供たちの足もとを照らす色だったりする。

"Colorful" This collection of photos explores the color in both abstract and figurative terms. The melanges of color were the reflections of the pools at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, along with the colorful ceiling of glass flower sculptures. The teenage legs are from Zadar, Croatia, on the famous colorful floor installation. A colorful night among the youth.

■Eva Ziemsen プロフィール カナダ人映画監督/アマチュア写真家。18歳から映画作りを始め、3年前より写真を始める。これまでブータン、シベリア鉄道、モロッコ、アメリカ南西部などのエキゾチックな場所を含む40カ国を旅し作品を作り続けている。今回のOGU MAGでの展示「Colorful カラフル」は彼女の初個展になる。受賞した映像作品に 『カンバセーション・ウィズ・ラース•フォン•トリアー』、『ママ＆パパ』、『チェルノブイリの子供』がある。近日、半分が仮想現実で設定された長編映画『ロミオとジュリエット（東京ラブストーリー）』の予告編を東京で撮影した。トロントでハンバーカレッジ映画テレビ学科の教授及びプログラム•コーディネーターをしながらUBCで映画教育についての博士号を取得している。

Eva Ziemsen is a filmmaker and an amateur photographer. She has been making films and shooting since she was 18 years old. She began with still photography only three years ago and has traveled to 40 countries so far. The most exotic photo locations include, Bhutan, the Transsiberian Railway, Morocco and the US Southwest. Her show at OGUMAG in Tabata, Tokyo marks her first full photo exhibition. Her award-winning films include, A Conversation with Lars von Trier, Mama & Papa and Child of Chernobyl. Recently in Tokyo, Eva filmed a trailer for her upcoming feature film, Romeo and Juliet (A Tokyo Love Story), of which half is set in a virtual reality. Eva is a Professor and Program Coordinator of Film & Television at Humber College in Toronto, Canada and is also doing her PhD at UBC in Online Film Education.
